
Q: What is Oasis?
A: Oasis is a fresh young church, which started on 17th June 2007.
Q: Where was Oasis before this plant?
A: A family of Christians has been meeting in Mylor Bridge as a house
church for several years.
Q: What is a church and what is a house church?
A: A “church” is a group of believers called to worship
together and a “house church” is a group meeting in a home.
Q: When will Oasis meet together?
A: Each Sunday evening at 6:00pm at the Zed Shed on Jubilee Wharf, Penryn
and each Thursday 7.30pm at Carvinack Barn for prayer. Other meetings
also take place during the week, please see home page.
Q: Can I attend Oasis if I am a member at another
church?
A: Yes please visit and encourage us.
Q: Will I be welcome at Oasis if I do not normally
attend a church or if I am not a christian believer?
A: Yes Oasis welcomes all with grace and mercy.
Q: What does it cost?
A: Nothing. But to those commited it will only be as good as your participation
and contribution, practically as well as financially.
Q: How can I join Oasis?
A: Oasis is a family and not a club. If you want to become part of Oasis
please speak to Chris Parker.
Q: Who is Chris Parker?
A: He is the guy responsible for starting Oasis. Aged 27, he lives in
Mylor Bridge and has a vision to share the good news about Jesus, specifically
with people aged 18 – 35.
Q: Can I only attend Oasis if I am age 18 –
35?
A: No. Oasis is a Christian fellowship for all ages but run by young
adults.
